Who am I:
I am a Senegalese student studying in the U.S. I was born and raised in Dakar, Senegal and came to the U.S. after I graduated from high school. I'm a junior majoring in Economics and minoring in International Business. Writing for me is a just hobby. I used to write now and then but never did I actually write full-scale poems. I officially started writing a while back now thanks to a friend of mine who encouraged me to elaborate.
Who am located:
I currently live in Boston (MA) but I go to Senegal quite often.
My Values:
Hum.my values. With my poems, it is glaringly obvious that I believe in Love. I think that it is more than a feeling, more than a state. No matter how much I'll write or read about it, I won't even come close. You have to live it.+ + respect, diplomacy and harmony. - - cruelty, viciousness, vulgarity and conflict between people.
My Hobbies:
Hang out with my friends. Stay home. I sometimes like to stay home and just chill with nobody. Just me and myself. Reading, I love to read romantic novels, listen to music (Hip hop, Zouk, Soft Rock, Techno). Watch TV and/or movies. That's pretty much it-- I think. Also, very important, chat online with msn messenger or aol messenger to keep in touch with my friends even the ones I see everyday. Lately, I haven't had much time but I try. And finally, daydreaming. I love to sit and daydream about anything and everything.
My Future Projects:
I would like to work in a finance environment after graduation for a couple of years then go for an MBA. I intend to go back home and live there once I get married. That's how I feel today. Time will tell.

As much as I love all of the poems I wrote, I am partial to the ones in italic probably because I can relate to them but I cannot begin to say why or how I wrote them. It is exclusive and I don't believe it will affect your own interpretation.
